# Borrowing

Before borrowing, ensure the following is done

* Under My Account, Borrow Limit is > $0
* Under My Account, Borrow Utilisation is at a healthy level (preferably < 80%)

1. At Market page, select the asset, click Borrow

2. Input the amount of asset to be borrowed, click Borrow. Please take note of the borrow utilisation in the process, be aware that your collaterals might be at risk of being liquidated if borrow utilisation is close to 100%

3. Wait for transaction to be confirmed and you are done.
